Our Buddhist centre Kagyu Dechen Choling, along with our groups based around the Yorkshire region are here to provide a place of meditation, tranquility and Buddhist study in a safe, welcoming environment.
Kagyu Dechen Choling has been established in Leeds for over 25 years occupying a quiet position in the Bramley area of Leeds: minutes away from train and bus route connections​​

Katie
I have been part of the Leeds Dechen group for many years. Helping with teaching events, and study groups.
The current text we are studying is the latest transmission teaching Lama Jampa Thaye presented in Yorkshire; The Union of Dzog Chen and Mahamudra.
I currently work in the NHS, as an Admin Support Officer, assisting a small team in the day to day running of a lively clinic in Leeds.
Ian Babelon
Ian is a regular member of the Leeds meditation group. Prior to joining the Yorkshire community, Ian was in touch with Karma Kagyu communities in France and Sweden.
You will likely enjoy a wee chat at your next shop visit at the local teaching events.
Ian also enjoys helping with research, digital products, and the natural and built environment.

Howard Quinn
Prior to attending Hollins College Manchester and working for the NHS and the Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester, I served for some years in the Merchant Navy.
Now retired, alongside Bobbi ,Katie and Tricia I organise the activities of the regional groups and the Harrogate centre.
